We will be following Federal and State guidelines for the reopening process. Many, if not all, of these restrictions you are most likely aware of and following, but need to be stated for the concern and safety of each church member.

First, if you are not feeling well – stay home.

  • Wear a mask while entering and exiting church.
  • Social distance as much as possible while entering and exiting church.
  • Pews will be blocked off so that seating is every other pew. Families may sit together, but all others should sit the minimum six feet apart.
  • Communion will be served at the steps that lead to the altar (where Baptisms are done), one row at a time as ushered up by a deacon. The bread and wine are in a prepackaged container with a wheat wafer on the bottom and wine on the top. Grape juice and a gluten free communion wafer will be available for those that prefer this option.
  • Offerings can be left in the offering plate in the narthex as you enter or exit the service.
  • Unfortunately, there will not be any singing at this time. As our church Synod and State guidelines inform that singing produces 6x to 10x the amount of droplets and puts worshippers at too high a risk for potential exposure to the Covod-19 virus.
  • Please, no lingering inside the church after the worship service. A deacon will usher each row to exit at the completion of the worship service. Feel free to “re-connect” with each other outside after worship, again, respecting social distancing.

By the grace of God we are coming through this pandemic and so look forward to worshipping our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ  - together – with all of you!

In Christian love and in service to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ,
